Congratulations are in order for Defiance senior left fielder Aaron Helland, who set the single-season stolen base record on Tuesday in Defiance’s 16-1 win over Van Wert. Helland swiped two bases and now has 32 on the year, two better than the record set by Cameron Stykemain (2007) and Adam Wagner (2008). Nice job Aaron, keep up the speedy work.
