GMC opening night

Tory Guilliam played well for Tinora.
I was at Fairview on Thursday to see defending GMC champ Tinora take on the Apaches as the GMC finally got underway after snow postponed the first weekend of conference games. Two things jumped out at me.
1. I was impressed with Tinora’s full-court pressure defense and the way they got after it for most of the night defensively, even in the half-court. I know that Fairview is still looking for someone to step up and play the point, but Tinora was still very tenacious.
2. Tinora senior Treg Lymanstall warmed up with the team before the game and could be returning sometime next month. Lymanstall, a big part of Tinora’s run to the D-III state title game a year ago, has been out with a leg injury. If he can come back and give the Rams some solid play, I think they could make a run toward another GMC crown and be a tough out in the tournament.
