HICKSVILLE — The athletic departments of Hicksville and Coldwater have announced that they have reached an agreement to play a home-and-home football series beginning in 2011.
Coldwater, the No. 1 team in the state in Division V, will travel to Hicksville in 2011, with the Aces making the trip to Coldwater in 2012.
The Cavaliers, out of the Midwest Athletic Conference, are a perennial state powerhouse, having won two state championships in Division IV in 2005 and 2007, while making the playoffs the last 12 years.
The Aces made their lone state appearance in 2004, reaching the Final Four in Division VI. Both schools are Division V this season.

Good luck Aces. You’ll need it. While your fresh & soph classes are good, the orange & black don’t rebuild…they just reload – a whole ‘nother class of football in MAC. Probably should’ve scheduled Parkway, or Minster 1st…even Maria Stein Marion Local…not Coldwater, St. John’s or Anna…it’s not gonna be pretty. but hey…if you wanna get better, and understand where your at? Play the best.
It’s alright to be confident, it’s a whole nother thing to be cocky! Just remember there slick! Goliath even got his butt kicked! Take pride in your team, don’t discgrace them by running your smart alec mouth. Hot air’s the only thing that comes out when ya do!
OH YEAH! Look what happened to the Tiger’s down there around the Akron area! Not hearing much about them anymore! Enjoy the ride on top for now. You’ll be at the bottom soon enough.
