Defiance High School landed three players on the Division II all-district baseball first team for the 2009 season.
Senior second baseman Craig Gutman, junior pitcher Dace Kime and junior outfielder Alex Nofziger were all named to the first team. Joining the Defiance trio on the first team are pitcher Matt Wisler, first baseman Levi Fisher and outfielder Jeremy Robinson, all of Bryan.
Senior pitcher Cody Kopilchack of Lima Shawnee was named Player of the Year.
Senior pitcher/infielder Justin Hancock and senior catcher Mark Sebring of Defiance were named to the second team.
