Bills now 3-0

18 April 2009 No Comment

Chad Billingsley earned his third win of the season on Saturday for the Los Angeles Dodgers as they downed the Colorado Rockies, 9-5. Bills went six innings and gave up three runs on four hits while striking out six and walking three. This is what the former DHS standout had to say:
“I didn’t have my great stuff today,” Billingsley said on www.dodgers.com. “They were working me hard and getting me into deep counts and so I had to concentrate on making good pitches.”
Bills is now 3-0, the Dodgers are 9-3 and have won seven straight games and are tied atop the N.L. West with surprising San Diego. If Chad continues to rack up wins, like I said before, he will be in the All-Star Game and in contention for his first Cy Young Award. Stay healthy Chad.
