Weather permitting, the Bulldogs will kick off the 2009 season on Monday at Booster Field against the Blue Streaks of Archbold. I’m excited for a new season and I’ll be out at old DHS to watch the action. Look for the Defiance High School baseball preview in Monday’s edition of The Crescent-News!

It’s official in Loco land that former Defiance College defensive co-ordinator Adam Baumgartner is the new head coach at Montpelier here’s a little info:
MONTPELIER — Former Defiance College defensive co-ordinator Adam Baumgartner has been named the head coach of the Montpelier Locomotives.
Baumgartner, who called the defense for the Yellow Jackets from 2005-06, takes over a program that was started in 1922 and will be the Locomotives’ 22nd head coach.
Baumgartner will be taking over for Joe Brigle, who was the Locos’ mentor for the past eight seasons. During his time with …
