McCain in D-Town

This, I believe, is my first post that doesn’t have any thing to do with high school football. But thought I’d pass it a long. If you chose not to be part of the thousands in front of Defiance Junior High School today for the Sen. John McCain speech, that may have been a good choice. The line started today at 5:30 a.m. and extends for several blocks in all directions. Myself, fellow sports scribe Lynn Groll, camera man extraordinaire Mark Froelich and C-N editor Dennis VanScoder headed down E. Second Street to check out the McCain caravan coming into town. Pretty neat deal, now we’re back in the office watching live on Fox News. Sorry no actual pictures of his bus, my cell phone met an untimely end earlier in the week.
