Seems to be a bit of confusion with the Fairview final offensive numbers from last night. AP is reporting that James Elchinger had a state-record 775 yards passing. In truth, after pouring over the stats with head coach David Robinson, OK he did all the work, it turns out Elchinger had the 625 that will be reported in Sunday’s C-N. T-minus 8 hours and 10 minutes until kickoff tonight for the Bulldogs of Defiance against the Titans of Ottawa-Glandorf and it should be a good one. There was a time when Defiance dominated this matchup, but give credit to O-G mentor Ken Schriner and the Titans for making this a solid rivalry.

It’s Thursday night and I find myself just thinking about the game on Friday night. Can Defiance stop O-G on defense? Can the Bulldogs make enough plays on offense? Will a special teams play be the difference? These are all questions I find myself thinking about tonight.
